3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
  • Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.

3.2 Placement

  • Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators) or in direct sunlight, as this can affect ice production efficiency.
  • Do not place the unit in an enclosed cabinet.

3.3 Initial Cleaning

  • Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Filling the Water Reservoir

  • Open the lid of the ice maker.
  • Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  • Close the lid securely.

4.2 Powering On and Selecting Ice Size

  • Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
  • Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the digital LCD control panel to turn on the unit.
  • Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select your desired ice cube size (Small or Large).

4.3 Ice Production Cycle

  • The ice maker will begin its ice production cycle automatically.
  • The first batch of ice typically takes less than 15 minutes.
  • The transparent window allows you to monitor the ice-making process.
  • When the ice basket is full, the unit will pause production. It will resume once ice is removed.
  • If the water level is low, the unit will indicate this and pause. Refill the water reservoir and, if necessary, turn the unit off and then on again to reset the cycle.

4.4 Retrieving Ice

  • Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.
  • Ice cubes may sometimes freeze together in a slab. Gently break them apart with the scoop or a suitable utensil before they harden completely in a freezer.
  • For long-term storage, transfer ice to a freezer.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  • After each use, or at least daily, unplug the unit.
  • Remove the ice basket.
  • Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit to empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
  • Wipe the interior surfaces, including the water reservoir and ice basket, with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before closing the drain plug and storing or reusing.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning
