5.2 Installation Steps
The installation process is designed to be straightforward. Follow these general steps:
- Attach TV Brackets: Secure the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your television using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure they are centered and tightened securely.
- Install Wall Plate: Locate your desired mounting position and mark the drill holes. Use a stud finder for wood studs. Drill pilot holes and securely fasten the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Use the included bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.

6. Operating (Adjustments)
This full motion TV mount offers various adjustments to achieve optimal viewing angles.
6.1 Tilt Adjustment
The mount allows for a tilt of +5° upward and -15° downward. This feature helps reduce glare from lights or windows and provides a comfortable viewing angle from different seating positions.
6.2 Swivel Adjustment
You can swivel your TV up to ±45° left or right. The maximum swivel angle may vary depending on your TV's size and its distance from the wall. This allows for flexible viewing from multiple areas within a room.
6.3 Leveling Adjustment
After installation, you can make a post-installation leveling adjustment of ±3° to ensure your TV is perfectly horizontal.
6.4 Extension and Retraction
The articulating arms allow you to pull the TV out from the wall up to 15.4 inches and retract it back to a minimum distance of 3 inches. This provides easy access to cables and allows for dynamic positioning.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
- Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Movement: If the articulating arms become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the pivot points.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TV wall mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV is not level: Use the post-installation leveling adjustment feature (±3°) to correct the tilt. Ensure the wall plate was installed level initially.
- Mount feels unstable: Double-check all mounting hardware and ensure it is securely fastened to both the wall and the TV. Verify that the wall type is appropriate and that the TV's weight does not exceed the mount's capacity.
- Difficulty adjusting movement: Ensure no cables are snagged or obstructing movement. If the arms are stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the joints.
- Input blocking: The full motion design allows you to pull the TV away from the wall for easier access to ports.
If the problem persists, please contact Pipishell customer service.
