1. Product Overview

The GenSwin Flameless Ivory Taper Candles offer a safe and convenient alternative to traditional candles. Note: AAA batteries (2 per candle) and candle holders are not included.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Gently twist the bottom cap of each taper candle counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert two (2) AAA batteries into each candle, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Twist the bottom cap clockwise to securely close the battery compartment.
4. Press the small black button on the bottom of each candle to activate it. The candle will light up.

3.2 Remote Control Preparation

The 10-key remote control is typically ready for use upon arrival. Ensure the plastic tab protecting the battery is removed if present. The remote uses a CR2025 3V battery.

3.3 Placement

These candles are designed for indoor use only. Place them in desired candle holders or on stable surfaces. Their realistic appearance makes them suitable for various decorative settings.

4. Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed and candles are activated via the bottom button, use the 10-key remote control to manage their functions.

4.1 Remote Control Functions

• ON/OFF: Press the green 'ON' button to turn all candles on. Press the red 'OFF' button to turn all candles off.
• Timer Settings: Select 2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H to set an automatic timer. The candles will stay on for the selected duration and then turn off. They will automatically turn on again at the same time the next day.
• Mode (Candle/Light):
  • Candle: Activates the flickering flame effect for a realistic candle appearance.
  • Light: Provides a steady, non-flickering light.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' button to increase brightness and the '-' button to decrease brightness.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the candles, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the wax finish.

5.2 Battery Replacement

When the light dims or the candle stops functioning, replace the AAA batteries in each candle. For the remote control, replace the CR2025 3V battery as needed. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly.

5.3 Storage

If storing the candles for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the product.

6. Troubleshooting

• Candle not turning on:
  • Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Verify the small black button on the bottom of the candle has been pressed to activate it.
• Remote control not working:
  • Ensure the plastic tab protecting the remote battery has been removed.
  • Replace the CR2025 3V battery in the remote control.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the candles.
• Flicker effect is inconsistent:
  • Check battery levels; low batteries can affect performance.
  • Ensure the candle is set to 'Candle' mode on the remote.
