Product Overview
The LAX-MAX Bluetooth 4X4 Speaker System features a vertical tower design with four integrated 4-inch woofers, providing robust audio output. It includes a convenient carry handle for portability and LED lights for visual enhancement. The main control panel is located at the top of the unit.

Control Panel Features:
- OFF/ON: Power switch for the unit.
- V-/Previous: Short press for previous track/station, long press for volume down.
- Play/Pause: Play or pause audio playback.
- V+/Next: Short press for next track/station, long press for volume up.
- MODE: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, and SD card modes.
- LED/POWER: Controls LED lights (short press) and may indicate power status.
- USB Port: For USB flash drive playback.
- SD Card Slot: For SD card playback.
- IN (Charging Port): Connect the USB charging cable here.
Setup
Initial Charging
- Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal rechargeable battery.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the 'IN' port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator (if present, often part of the LED/POWER light) will show charging status. Charging is complete when the indicator changes or turns off.
Placement
Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface. For optimal sound quality, ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the speaker drivers.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on the speaker, slide the 'OFF/ON' switch to the 'ON' position.
- To turn off the speaker, slide the 'OFF/ON' switch to the 'OFF' position.
Bluetooth Mode
- Turn on the speaker. It will typically enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically, indicated by a flashing LED light or an audible prompt.
- If not in Bluetooth mode, press the 'MODE' button repeatedly until you hear the Bluetooth prompt or see the corresponding indicator.
- On your compatible device (smartphone, tablet, MP3 player), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'LAX-MAX Speaker' (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible tone, and the LED indicator will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
FM Radio Mode
- Turn on the speaker. Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode.
- To automatically scan and save available FM stations, press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button. The speaker will scan and store stations.
- Once scanning is complete, use the 'V-/Previous' and 'V+/Next' buttons to navigate between saved stations.
USB/SD Card Playback
- Turn on the speaker.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
- The speaker should automatically switch to USB or SD card mode and begin playing audio files (e.g., MP3). If not, press the 'MODE' button to select the correct input.
- Use the 'V-/Previous' and 'V+/Next' buttons to skip tracks. Use the 'Play/Pause' button to pause or resume playback.
LED Lights Control
- Short press the 'LED/POWER' button to cycle through different LED light modes or to turn the lights on/off.
Charging the Battery
When the battery is low, the speaker may indicate this with an audible prompt or a flashing LED. To charge:
- Connect the USB charging cable to the 'IN' port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V USB power source.
- Allow the speaker to charge fully before disconnecting.
Maintenance
- Clean the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid blocking the speaker grilles or ventilation openings.
Troubleshooting
No Power
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- Check that the 'OFF/ON' switch is in the 'ON' position.
No Sound
- Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
- Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, FM, USB, SD) is selected.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the device is properly paired and connected.
Bluetooth Not Connecting
- Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Move your device closer to the speaker.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker from your device's Bluetooth settings.
Poor FM Radio Reception
- Relocate the speaker to an area with better signal reception.
- Perform an automatic station scan again.
