Setup and Installation

Safety Precautions

  • Ensure power is disconnected from the circuit before attempting any installation.
  • Installation should be performed by qualified personnel to prevent electrical hazards.
  • Verify the correct voltage (110V AC) before connecting the indicator lights.

Mounting Instructions

  1. Drill a 22mm diameter hole in the desired panel location. The panel thickness should be between 1mm and 4mm.
  2. Insert the LED indicator light into the drilled hole from the front of the panel.
  3. From the rear of the panel, secure the indicator by tightening the provided mounting nut and washer.

Wiring Instructions

Connect the two screw terminals located on the back of the indicator to your 110V AC power source. For AC indicators, polarity is generally not critical, but ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain optimal visibility, wipe the indicator lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these can damage the plastic material.

Inspection

Periodically inspect the wiring connections to ensure they remain tight and show no signs of wear or corrosion. Also, check that the mounting nut is securely fastened.

Protective Film

The indicator lens may come with a thin protective film. For the clearest display, gently peel this film off before initial use.

Troubleshooting

Light Does Not Illuminate

  • Check Power Supply: Ensure that 110V AC power is correctly supplied to the indicator terminals. Use a multimeter to verify voltage if necessary.
  • Check Wiring: Verify that all connections are secure and correctly wired according to the installation instructions.
  • Inspect for Damage: Visually inspect the indicator for any visible damage to the housing or terminals.

Dim or Flickering Light

  • Voltage Fluctuation: Ensure a stable 110V AC power source. Unstable voltage can cause inconsistent illumination.
  • Loose Connection: Re-check all wiring connections to ensure they are tight and making good contact.
