2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the carrier immediately. Retain all packaging materials for potential future shipping or returns.

2.2 Placement

  • Place the refrigerator on a strong, level surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 380 lbs empty, plus contents).
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) clearance from walls and other obstructions on all sides and top for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat-generating appliances.

2.3 Caster Installation

The unit comes with 4 casters. Carefully tilt the unit and attach the casters to the designated points at the bottom of the refrigerator. Ensure all casters are securely fastened before returning the unit to an upright position.

2.4 Electrical Connection

  • Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated 115V/60Hz, 8.8 Amps electrical outlet. The unit is equipped with a NEMA 5-15P plug and a 9 ft power cord.
  • Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
  • Ensure the electrical circuit is properly grounded.

2.5 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

Once connected to power, the unit will automatically begin cooling. To turn off the unit, disconnect it from the power supply.

3.2 Temperature Control

The refrigerator features digital temperature controls with an LED display for precise adjustment. The factory preset temperature range is 33°F to 41°F. Refer to the control panel instructions (usually located near the display) for specific steps on how to adjust the temperature settings.

3.3 Shelf Adjustment

The unit includes 10 adjustable and removable wire shelves (5 on each side). To adjust, remove items from the shelf, lift the shelf, and reposition the shelf clips to the desired height. Ensure shelves are level and securely seated before loading products.

3.4 Loading the Refrigerator

Load products evenly on the shelves. Do not block the internal air vents, as this can impede proper cooling and air circulation. Avoid overloading shelves beyond their weight capacity.

3.5 Automatic Defrost

This unit is equipped with an automatic defrost system. This system periodically melts away any frost buildup on the evaporator coil, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. During the defrost cycle, the internal temperature may temporarily rise slightly, which is normal.

3.6 LED Interior Lighting

The refrigerator features LED interior lighting to illuminate products. The lighting can typically be controlled via a switch on the control panel or near the light fixture.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Regular Cleaning

  • Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a mild, non-abrasive detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Remove shelves for easier cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Glass Doors: Use a glass cleaner specifically designed for glass surfaces to maintain clarity.

4.2 Condenser Coil Cleaning

The condenser coil, located at the bottom of the unit, should be cleaned periodically (e.g., every 3 months) to ensure efficient operation. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the coil fins.

4.3 Door Seal Inspection

Regularly inspect the door gaskets for cracks, tears, or signs of wear. Damaged gaskets can lead to air leaks and reduced cooling efficiency. Replace worn gaskets promptly.

5. Troubleshooting
