Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Esky Key Finder comes with pre-installed CR2032 batteries in both the transmitters and receivers. If replacement is needed, follow these steps:

For Receivers:

  1. Gently pry open the receiver cover using a small flat tool (not included).
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the receiver cover securely.

For Transmitters (Remotes):

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter.
  2. Open the compartment cover (a small screwdriver may be needed, not included).
  3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  4. Insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (positive side up).
  5. Close the compartment cover securely.

2. Attaching Receivers to Items

The slim receivers can be attached to various items using the provided accessories:

Operating Instructions

To locate a lost item, simply press the corresponding color-coded button on the transmitter. The receiver attached to your item will emit a loud 85dB beep and flash its built-in LED light, guiding you to its location.

Maintenance

The Esky Key Finder receivers and transmitters are powered by CR2032 coin batteries, which are designed to last up to one year. Regular maintenance primarily involves replacing these batteries when their performance diminishes. Sound is not loud enough.
  • Receiver speaker is obstructed.
  • Item is in an enclosed space (e.g., drawer, under cushions).
  • Ensure the speaker grille on the receiver is clear.
  • Try to locate the item in a more open area.
  • Note that sound volume may be reduced by obstacles.
Transmitter button needs multiple presses to activate.
  • Normal operation for initial activation.
  • Transmitter battery is low.
  • This can be normal behavior. Continue pressing until activated.
  • Replace the CR2032 battery in the transmitter.
