Safety Information

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the coffee maker by running two full cycles with only water. Fill the water reservoir to the maximum 14 oz mark, place a mug on the drip tray, and press the brew button. Discard the water after each cycle.
  3. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is near a power outlet and away from water sources.

Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee (Ground Coffee)

  1. Open Lid: Lift the top lid of the coffee maker.
  2. Insert Filter: Place the reusable filter into the brewing chamber.
  3. Add Ground Coffee: Add your desired amount of medium/coarse ground coffee into the reusable filter. Do not overfill.
  4. Add Water: Pour cold water into the water reservoir, observing the 6 oz to 14 oz measurement markings.
  5. Close Lid: Close the top lid securely.
  6. Place Mug: Position your coffee mug on the drip tray.
  7. Start Brewing: Press the one-touch control button. The button will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
  8. Auto Shut-off: The coffee maker will automatically shut off once the brewing cycle is complete.

Brewing Coffee (Single-Serve Pods)

  1. Open Lid: Lift the top lid of the coffee maker.

Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

  • After each use, unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool.
  • Remove and empty the reusable filter or dispose of the used pod.
  • Wash the reusable filter and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling (Every 2 Months)

To prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance, descale your coffee maker every two months.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  3. Press the brew button to start a brewing cycle.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, let the coffee maker sit for 30 minutes with the vinegar solution inside.
  5. Run two more cycles with fresh water to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste.

Troubleshooting
