Verify that all components are present before beginning installation.

Setup and Installation

The ProCom ML1PHG heater can be wall-mounted using the included bracket or placed on a floor with optional base feet (sold separately).

Wall Mounting

  1. Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from combustible materials and has proper clearances.
  2. Attach the wall mounting bracket securely to the wall using the provided hardware. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly anchored to wall studs or appropriate anchors.
  3. Carefully lift the heater and align the mounting slots on the back of the heater with the bracket. Lower the heater onto the bracket until it is securely seated.

Gas Connection

This heater operates on Liquid Propane (LP) gas only. A qualified technician must perform the gas connection.

Operating Instructions

The ML1PHG heater features a manual control for simple operation.

Ignition Procedure

  1. Ensure the gas supply valve to the heater is open.
  2. Locate the control knob on the top of the heater.
  3. Push the control knob in and turn it counter-clockwise to the PILOT/IGN position.
  4. While holding the knob in, repeatedly press the IGNITOR button until the pilot flame ignites. You should see a small blue flame.
  5. Continue to hold the control knob in for approximately 30-60 seconds after the pilot ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
  6. Release the control knob. The pilot flame should remain lit. If it extinguishes, repeat steps 3-5.
  7. Once the pilot is lit, push the control knob in slightly and turn it counter-clockwise to the desired heat setting: LOW or HIGH. The main burner will ignite.
