Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your ProCom ML1PHG Ventless Propane Gas Infrared Space Heater. Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. This heater is designed to provide supplemental heat for indoor residential spaces.

Safety Information
Your safety and the safety of others are very important. This manual contains important safety messages. Always read and obey all safety messages.
- This appliance is for use with Propane Gas only.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
- Installation and repair must be done by a qualified service person. The appliance must be installed in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54.
- This heater is equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) pilot system. The ODS will shut off the heater if oxygen levels in the room become too low. Do not tamper with the ODS.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when operating the heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, drapes, and clothing, at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from the front of the heater.

Setup and Installation
The ProCom ML1PHG heater can be wall-mounted using the included bracket or placed on a floor with optional base feet (sold separately).
Wall Mounting
- Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from combustible materials and has proper clearances.
- Attach the wall mounting bracket securely to the wall using the provided hardware. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly anchored to wall studs or appropriate anchors.
- Carefully lift the heater and align the mounting slots on the back of the heater with the bracket. Lower the heater onto the bracket until it is securely seated.

Gas Connection
This heater operates on Liquid Propane (LP) gas only. A qualified technician must perform the gas connection.
- Ensure the main gas supply valve is off before making any connections.
- Connect the propane supply line to the heater's gas inlet. Use appropriate gas-rated sealant on all threaded connections.
- Check all connections for leaks using a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.

Operating Instructions
The ML1PHG heater features a manual control for simple operation.
Ignition Procedure
- Ensure the gas supply valve to the heater is open.
- Locate the control knob on the top of the heater.
- Push the control knob in and turn it counter-clockwise to the PILOT/IGN position.
- While holding the knob in, repeatedly press the IGNITOR button until the pilot flame ignites. You should see a small blue flame.
- Continue to hold the control knob in for approximately 30-60 seconds after the pilot ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
- Release the control knob. The pilot flame should remain lit. If it extinguishes, repeat steps 3-5.
- Once the pilot is lit, push the control knob in slightly and turn it counter-clockwise to the desired heat setting: LOW or HIGH. The main burner will ignite.

Shutting Down the Heater
- To turn off the main burner, turn the control knob clockwise to the OFF position. The pilot flame will also extinguish.
- For extended periods of non-use, turn off the main gas supply valve to the heater.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heater.
- Cleaning: Keep the heater area clear and free from combustible materials, dust, lint, and pet hair. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Pilot and Burner Inspection: Periodically inspect the pilot and main burner for proper flame appearance. The pilot flame should be steady and blue. The main burner flame should be blue with no yellow tipping.
- Ventilation: Ensure that air openings on the heater are not obstructed.
- Annual Inspection: It is recommended to have the heater inspected annually by a qualified service technician.
