4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps for optimal adhesion:
- Prepare the Surface: Remove any old adhesive. Wipe the surface where the adhesive will be applied with a provided wipe pad until it is completely dry. Ensure the surface is relatively flat.
- Apply to Suction Cup: Peel off the yellow protective film from one side of the 3M adhesive pad. Carefully stick this side onto the base of your suction cup mount. Press firmly for at least 12 seconds to ensure good initial adhesion.
- Attach to Desired Area: Peel off the red protective film from the other side of the 3M adhesive pad. Position the suction cup mount with the adhesive attached onto the chosen area (dashboard, windshield, etc.). Press down repeatedly for 5-10 minutes to ensure strong bonding.
- Curing Time: IMPORTANT: Wait 24 HOURS before attaching any device or applying significant weight to the mount. For optimal adhesion (up to 99% stickiness), allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully cure.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the adhesive pad and suction cup mount are securely installed and fully cured (after 24-48 hours), you can attach your device (dash cam, phone, GPS, etc.) to the mount. The strong bond ensures stability even on bumpy roads or in high temperatures. Ensure the suction cup is firmly attached to the adhesive pad by pressing down on its lever or mechanism to create a vacuum seal.

6. Maintenance and Important Notes
To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your VOLPORT adhesive pads, please observe the following:
- Curing Time: Always wait 24 hours after sticking the adhesive before use.
- Surface Compatibility: Do NOT use on silicone pads.
- Single Use: Do not reuse double-faced adhesive tape. Each pad is designed for one-time use.
- Surface Selection: Choose a relatively flat surface on your dashboard or windshield for best results.
- Suction Cup Air Valve: If sticking directly to the suction cup bracket base, ensure the air valve is in the open position before applying the adhesive.

7. Removal Instructions
To remove the adhesive pad without leaving residue:
- Use dental floss or a thin, strong string to slowly cut through the old adhesive between the mounted object and the surface.
- Carefully remove any residual old adhesive by hand.
- Wipe the surface with a clean wipe pad or a wet cloth to clean any remaining residue.

If you experience issues with adhesion, please review the installation steps carefully. Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned and dry before application, and that the full 24-48 hour curing time was observed before placing any weight on the mount. Adhesion may be compromised if the surface is not flat or if the adhesive is reused.
