Setup

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. The speaker features a USB-C charging port.

1. Connect the small end of the USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB wall charger (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The battery indicator light will pulse white during charging and turn solid white when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playtime.

Powering On/Off

Press the Power button ( - refer to top view image for button location) located on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off. A tone will indicate the power status.

Operating the Speaker

Bluetooth Pairing

The SoundLink Mini II can connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

1. Turn on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will blink blue, indicating it's ready to pair.
2. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "Bose Mini II SoundLink" from the list of available devices.
3. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid white, and you will hear a voice prompt confirming the connection.
4. The speaker remembers the last 8 devices it connected to, making reconnection easier.

Controlling Playback and Volume

• Volume Buttons (- / +): Press to decrease or increase the volume.
• Multi-function Button (•••):
  • Press once to play/pause audio.
  • Press twice quickly to skip to the next track.
  • Press three times quickly to skip to the previous track.
  • Press and hold to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

Taking Calls

The speaker has a built-in microphone for hands-free calling.

• Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
• Decline Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Wipe the surface of the speaker with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning sprays.
• Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
