Maintenance and Care
Water Resistance (5ATM)
Your SKMEI 1459 watch is rated for 5ATM water resistance, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as during swimming. However, it is important to observe the following precautions:
- Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Avoid using the watch in hot water, such as hot baths, saunas, or hot tubs, as this can compromise the water seals.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
Temperature Considerations
- Avoid exposing the watch to temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F) for extended periods, as this can shorten battery life or cause leakage.
- Do not keep the watch in low-temperature environments below -10°C (14°F) for a long time, as this may affect the accuracy of the display.
Cleaning
Clean the watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the watch case or strap.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim. | Battery may be low or depleted. Contact a qualified watch repair service for battery replacement. |
