3. Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Install Filters:
Open the filter compartment. Insert the 3-stage filters in the correct order: Pre-filter, Middle filter, and Main filter. Ensure they are seated properly to prevent air leakage.

Connect the strong suction hose (flexible arm) to the top of the fume extractor unit. Choose either the black (4.7"x8.7") or transparent (15"x10") aerodynamic diamond cover and attach it to the end of the flexible arm. The transparent cover offers a larger smoking area.

- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the unit and then into a standard 110V AC outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button on the front of the unit to turn it on.
- Adjust Suction Speed: The unit features 3-level speed regulation. Use the control knob or buttons (depending on model variant) to adjust the suction power according to the amount of smoke generated. The noise level ranges from 45 dB (lowest) to 55 dB (highest).
- Position the Flexible Arm: Adjust the 1.2m flexible arm to position the diamond cover directly over the work area. The arm can rotate 360 degrees and maintain its position without support, ensuring optimal fume capture.
- Begin Work: Proceed with your soldering or welding tasks while the fume extractor effectively removes harmful smoke.
- Power Off: After use, press the power button to turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance, especially filter replacement, is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your fume extractor.
Filter Replacement:
The BSS-130 uses a 3-stage filtration system. Each filter has a recommended replacement cycle:
- Pre-filter (PM50): Replace every 15-60 days, depending on usage.
- Middle filter (PM0.5): Replace every 4-7 months.
- Main filter (Harmful Gases): Replace every 6-12 months.
To replace filters:
- Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged.
- Open the filter compartment by unlatching the metal clips.
- Carefully remove the old filters. It is recommended to wear gloves and a mask when handling used filters.
- Insert new filters, ensuring they are correctly oriented and sealed. The highly sealed structure with metal latches ensures no fumes bypass the filters.
- Close and secure the filter compartment.
Cleaning the Unit:
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquids enter the unit.
