1. Introduction
The Duosida Level 1+2 EV Charger is a versatile and portable electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) designed for efficient charging of your electric vehicle at home or office. This charger supports both Level 1 (120V) and Level 2 (240V) charging, offering flexibility and faster charging speeds compared to standard Level 1 chargers. It features a 25-foot cable and a control box with LED indicators for charge status.
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Duosida EV Charger, including setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the Duosida EV Charger. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Do not immerse the charger or its components in water or other liquids.
- Do not operate the charger if it is damaged, has frayed cables, or if the plug or connector is compromised.
- Ensure the power outlet used is properly grounded and rated for the charger's specifications (120V or 240V, 16A).
- Do not use extension cords or adapters other than the provided 110V adapter.
- Keep the charging area clear of flammable materials.
- Always disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- This charger is designed for electric vehicle charging only. Do not use it for other purposes.
- Ensure the charging cable is not pinched, stepped on, or subjected to damage during use.

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Duosida EV Charger:
- Unpack the Charger: Carefully remove all components from the carrying case.
- Choose a Power Source:
- For Level 2 (240V) charging: Plug the charger's NEMA 6-20P plug directly into a compatible 240V, 20A (or higher) NEMA 6-20R outlet.
- For Level 1 (120V) charging: Connect the provided 110V adapter cable to the charger's NEMA 6-20P plug, then plug the adapter into a standard 120V household outlet.

- Mounting (Optional): The control box features mounting holes. If desired, secure the control box to a wall using appropriate screws (not included) to keep it stable and organized. Ensure the mounting location is dry and protected from direct weather exposure.
- Power On: Once connected to a power source, the charger's control box will illuminate the "POWER" LED, indicating it is ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
To charge your electric vehicle:
- Connect to Vehicle: Open your vehicle's charging port and firmly insert the J1772 connector from the Duosida charger into the vehicle's inlet. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Initiate Charging: The charger will automatically begin communicating with your vehicle. The "CONNECTED" LED on the control box will illuminate, followed by the "CHARGING" LED.
- Monitor Charge Status: The LED indicators on the control box provide real-time status:
- POWER: Solid green when the charger is connected to power.
- CONNECTED: Solid green when the charger is properly connected to the vehicle.
- CHARGING: Blinking green during active charging.
- FAULT: Solid red if an error occurs (refer to Troubleshooting section).

- End Charging: To stop charging, first disconnect the J1772 connector from your vehicle. The charger will cease operation. Then, unplug the charger from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your charger:
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from power. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the control box, cables, and connectors. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cable Care: Avoid kinking, twisting, or driving over the charging cable. Store the cable neatly when not in use to prevent damage.
- Storage: When not in use, store the charger in its provided carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the charger, cables, and plugs for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact support.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Duosida EV Charger, refer to the table below:
