5. Charging the Device

The Go-tcha Evolve has a built-in USB charging connector. No additional cable is required.

1. Carefully remove the buckle-side of the wristband to expose the USB connector. This may require a firm but gentle pull at a 45-degree angle.
2. Plug the exposed USB connector directly into a standard USB charger plug or USB outlet.
3. The device will display a battery level indicator, similar to a mobile phone, to show the charging status.
4. A full charge typically takes approximately 90 minutes (1.5 hours).

6. Setup and Connection

6.1. Initial Setup Sequence

1. Enable Bluetooth: On your smartphone, ensure Bluetooth is turned on in your device settings.
2. Download Go-tcha Evolve App: Download the official Go-tcha Evolve app. It is recommended to obtain the app from the official Go-tcha UK website or a trusted app store.
3. Connect Device to Go-tcha App:
   • Ensure the Pokémon GO app is closed or not actively running in the foreground.
   • Launch the Go-tcha Evolve app.
   • Tap the "Connect Device" button, then select "Pokemon Go Plus", and tap "Pair".
   • On your Go-tcha Evolve device, tap the red circle on the screen.
   • The Go-tcha app should now display "Disconnect Device", indicating a successful connection. The app will also show the device's battery level and allow you to toggle various functions.
4. Connect to Pokémon GO App:
   • Open the Pokémon GO app.
   • Tap the Main Menu button (red Pokéball icon).
   • Tap the "Settings" icon (gear icon).
   • Select "Pokémon GO Plus" under the "Available Devices" header.
   • Return to the Pokémon GO app's main screen. Tap the greyed-out Pokémon GO Plus icon (top right side).
   • A dialog box will prompt you to tap the red button on your Go-tcha Evolve device.
   • On your phone, a Bluetooth Pairing Request dialog box may appear. Tap "Pair".
   • A confirmation message will appear, and the Pokémon GO Plus icon in the app will no longer be greyed out, showing a green dot with Wi-Fi-like bars, indicating a successful connection.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1. Core Functions

The Go-tcha Evolve allows you to automatically catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops. These functions can be toggled on or off either through the Go-tcha Evolve app or directly on the device's screen by swiping right.

• Auto Catch: When enabled, the device will automatically attempt to catch nearby Pokémon using standard Poké Balls. It will throw one ball per Pokémon.
• Auto Spin: When enabled, the device will automatically spin nearby PokéStops and Gyms to collect items.
• Vibration Alerts: The device can vibrate to notify you of nearby Pokémon, PokéStops, or successful catches/spins. This can be enabled or disabled.

7.2. Additional Features

• Real-Time Clock: The device displays the current time.
• Pedometer: Tracks your steps throughout the day. Note: Availability of this feature may vary by region.

7.3. Important Notes for Pokémon GO Connection

• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Band Care: While the wristband is designed for durability, repeated forceful removal for charging may cause wear over time. Exercise care when detaching the band.

9.1. Device Not Responding or Charging

• Ensure the device is properly plugged into a working USB power source.
• If the screen is unresponsive, plug it into a charger. The screen should immediately respond to touch once connected to power.

9.2. Connection Issues with Go-tcha App or Pokémon GO

• Re-pairing: If the Go-tcha app or Pokémon GO app fails to connect, try the following:
  • On Android: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Go-tcha Evolve app > Storage > Clear Cache. Then restart your mobile phone.
  • On iOS: Close both apps completely, turn Bluetooth off and on, then restart the connection process.

9.3. Not Catching Pokémon or Spinning PokéStops

• Check your in-game settings to ensure the Pokémon GO Plus is connected and enabled.
