2. Package Contents

Upon opening your Evernary Caregiver Pager Wireless Call System package, please verify that all the following components are included:

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Evernary Caregiver Pager system:

4.1. Battery Installation

The system comes with pre-installed batteries. If replacement is needed, refer to the Maintenance section.

4.2. Powering On/Off the Receiver

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the portable pager receiver. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the device. Slide it to 'OFF' to power it down.

4.3. Pairing Call Buttons with Receivers

Your devices are typically pre-paired from the factory. If you need to pair new devices or re-pair existing ones, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the receiver is powered on.
  2. On the receiver, locate the 'Pairing Button' (often indicated by a small icon or text).
  3. Press and hold the 'Pairing Button' on the receiver until it enters pairing mode (e.g., a specific light indicator or sound).
  4. While the receiver is in pairing mode, press the SOS button on the call transmitter. The receiver should acknowledge the pairing with a sound or flash.
  5. Repeat for all call buttons you wish to pair with this receiver.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Using the Call Button

To send an alert, simply press the large red 'SOS' button on the call transmitter. The transmitter will send a signal to the paired receiver(s).

5.2. Receiving Alerts

When a call button is pressed, the portable receiver will:

  • Vibrate
  • Emit an audible ringtone
  • Flash its LED indicator light

These multiple alert methods ensure that the caregiver is notified effectively, even in noisy environments or if they have hearing impairments.

5.3. Adjusting Volume and Changing Music

On the portable receiver, locate the 'Volume Change' and 'Music Change' buttons. These are typically small buttons next to the pairing button.

  • Volume Change: Short press the 'Volume Change' button to cycle through the four available volume levels (25dB, 50dB, 75dB, 110dB).
  • Music Change: Short press the 'Music Change' button to cycle through the 52 available melodies.

The Smart Memory feature will retain your last selected volume and melody settings even after the device is powered off and on.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

Call Button (Transmitter): Requires 2 x CR2016 batteries.

  1. Remove the stopper from the back of the call button.
  2. Loosen the small screw on the back cover.
  3. Carefully open the back cover and replace the CR2016 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Check the seal for proper placement, then close the back cover and tighten the screw.

Portable Pager Receiver: Requires 2 x AAA batteries.

  1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the receiver.
  2. Open the cover and replace the AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

6.2. Cleaning

Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the receiver in water. While the call button is IP55 waterproof, it should not be submerged.

7. Troubleshooting
