1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Lacasa Solar Deck Lights. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your solar lights. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and retain them for future reference.
These solar lights are designed for outdoor use, providing ambient lighting for decks, driveways, walkways, stairs, and gardens. They feature automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and are built to withstand various outdoor conditions.
2. Package Contents
- 4 x Lacasa Round Solar Deck Lights
- 4 x Waterproof Adhesive Tapes
- 1 x Instruction Manual (this document)
3. Setup and Installation
Proper placement and installation are crucial for optimal performance of your solar lights.
3.1 Choosing a Location
Select an outdoor location where the solar panel on top of each light can receive a minimum of 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Insufficient sunlight will result in reduced illumination time and brightness.
Avoid placing lights under trees, bushes, or near other light sources (like streetlights) that might interfere with the automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor.
3.2 Initial Charge
Before the first use, it is recommended to place the solar lights in direct sunlight for at least 8-10 hours to ensure the internal battery is fully charged. This will maximize initial performance.

Figure 3.2.1: Solar charging process. The 5.5V 0.88W solar panel charges the 700mAh battery in approximately 4 hours of strong sunlight, providing up to 16 hours of light.
3.3 Installation Steps
The Lacasa Solar Deck Lights are designed for simple, drill-free installation using the included waterproof adhesive tapes.
- Clean the Surface: Ensure the installation surface (deck, step, pathway) is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, or grease.
- Prepare Adhesive: Peel off one side of the protective film from the waterproof adhesive tape.
- Apply to Light: Firmly press the adhesive tape onto the bottom of the solar deck light.
- Position and Secure: Peel off the remaining protective film from the adhesive tape. Carefully position the light on your desired surface and press down firmly for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

4. Operating Instructions
The Lacasa Solar Deck Lights are designed for fully automatic operation.
4.1 Automatic On/Off Function
The lights are equipped with a light sensor. They will automatically turn on at dusk when ambient light levels are low and turn off at dawn when sufficient light is detected. There is no manual switch required for daily operation.

4.2 Illumination Performance
With a full charge (approximately 4 hours of strong direct sunlight), the lights can provide illumination for up to 16 hours. The 24 warm white LEDs offer 360° illumination with 50 lumens of brightness at 3000K warm white light.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar lights.
5.1 Cleaning
Periodically clean the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove any accumulated dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean solar panel ensures efficient charging.
5.2 Durability and Waterproofing
These lights are designed with IP68 waterproofing, making them resistant to frost, heat, corrosion, and pressure. The tough polycarbonate case can withstand up to 10 tons of pressure, suitable for driveways where vehicles may pass over them.

Figure 5.2.2: The robust construction allows the lights to withstand significant pressure, making them suitable for driveways.
6. Troubleshooting
If your solar lights are not performing as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight for at least 4-6 hours daily.
- Check if the light is placed near other strong light sources (e.g., streetlights, porch lights) that might trigger the light sensor to keep the light off.
- Verify that the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
- Light illuminates for a short period or is dim:
- The battery may not be fully charged. Ensure the solar panel receives maximum direct sunlight exposure.
- Weather conditions (overcast days) can affect charging efficiency. Allow for several sunny days to fully recharge.
- The internal battery may be reaching the end of its lifespan. While designed for durability, rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge cycles.
- Light is damaged:
- Despite robust design, extreme impacts can cause damage. Contact customer support if the product is within the warranty period.
