5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the POWER switch on the front panel to turn the unit on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.
5.2 Temperature Adjustment
Use the TEMP adjustment buttons (▲ and ▼) to set the desired hot air temperature. The temperature range is 100°C to 500°C. The unit features intelligent temperature memory, recalling the last set temperature upon restart.

5.3 Airflow Adjustment
Rotate the AIR knob to adjust the airflow speed. There are 8 levels of adjustable airflow. For hot-sensitive SMD work, a softer air setting is recommended.
5.4 Automatic Cooling Down
When the hot air gun is placed back into its cradle (gun bracket), the unit will automatically initiate a cooling process. The fan will continue to run until the temperature drops to a safe level, then the unit will enter standby mode. This protects the heating element and extends the life of the hot air gun.

5.5 Nozzle Installation
The hot air gun comes with three different sized air nozzles (3.2mm, 5mm, 8mm). To install a nozzle, simply push it onto the end of the hot air gun. Ensure it is securely fitted before operation.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | No power supply; power cable loose; power switch off. | Check power outlet; ensure power cable is securely connected; turn power switch on. |
| Hot air gun not heating. | Hot air gun cable loose; temperature set too low; internal heating element issue. | Ensure hot air gun cable is securely connected; increase temperature setting; if problem persists, contact support. |
| Fan not working or weak airflow. | Airflow setting too low; fan obstruction; internal fan issue. | Increase airflow setting; check for obstructions in the nozzle or gun; if problem persists, contact support. |
| Temperature display shows "OFF" or "SOP". | Hot air gun is in its cradle (automatic cooling/standby); no handle inserted/detected heat core. | This is normal behavior. Remove the hot air gun from the cradle to resume operation. If "SOP" persists after removing, contact support. |
