4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the edge banding iron and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

  3. Attach Cotton Sock (Optional): For delicate surfaces or to reduce direct heat transfer, slide the protective cotton sock over the iron's shoe. Ensure it fits snugly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On and Temperature Setting

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the iron. The LCD display will illuminate.
  2. Use the Temp. Adjust Increase (+) and Temp. Adjust Decrease (-) buttons to set your desired temperature. The temperature range is 100°C to 200°C (212°F to 392°F).
  3. The iron will begin heating. The red indicator light will flash when the set temperature is reached.

5.2 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press and hold both the ON/OFF button and the (°C/°F) button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Shoe: After use, and once the iron has cooled, gently wipe the PTFE-coated shoe with a soft, damp cloth to remove any adhesive residue. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cotton Sock Care: If using the protective cotton sock, remove it after use and clean it as needed. Ensure it is dry before storing.
  • Storage: Always store the iron on its metal safety stand in a dry, safe place, away from dust and moisture.
