  1. Preparation: Remove your existing shower head. Clean any old plumber's tape from the shower arm threads.
  2. Install Diverter: Apply plumber's tape to the threads of your shower arm. Screw the main diverter unit onto the shower arm, tightening by hand and then with a wrench until secure. Do not overtighten.
  3. Attach Fixed Shower Head: Screw the fixed rain shower head onto the upper outlet of the diverter. Ensure a tight seal.
  4. Connect Handheld Hose: Attach one end of the 72-inch metal hose to the lower outlet of the diverter. Attach the other end of the hose to the handheld shower head.
  5. Secure Handheld Cradle: Place the handheld shower head into its designated cradle on the diverter unit.
  6. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the water supply and check for any leaks at the connections. Tighten if necessary.

Operating Instructions

The Oxygenics Drench Dual Shower Head offers multiple spray combinations and flexible use options.

  • Diverter Control: A knob or lever on the main diverter unit allows you to switch water flow between the fixed rain shower head, the handheld shower head, or both simultaneously.
  • Spray Settings: Both the fixed and handheld shower heads feature adjustable spray settings. Rotate the outer ring or dial on each shower head to cycle through the available 55 spray combinations, ranging from a gentle rain to a powerful massage.
  • Handheld Use: The handheld shower head can be easily removed from its cradle for targeted rinsing, cleaning the shower area, or assisting with bathing children or pets.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower head.

  • Cleaning Nozzles: The nozzles are designed to be clog-resistant. If mineral deposits accumulate, gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge them.
  • Surface Cleaning: Clean the brushed nickel finish with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
  • Hose Care: Periodically check the metal hose for kinks or damage. Ensure it is not excessively twisted during use.
