1. Product Overview

The i-box Dawn is a versatile bedside alarm clock radio that integrates a Bluetooth wireless speaker, fast Qi wireless charging pad, and a USB charging port. It features a dimmable LED display and dual alarm functionality, making it a comprehensive solution for your bedside needs.

2. Setup

2.1 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the DC Power Port on the back of the i-box Dawn unit. Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The unit will power on and the display will illuminate.

2.2 Battery Installation (Backup)

For backup power during outages, install 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.

2.3 Initial Time Setting

Upon first power-on or after a power interruption without backup batteries, the time display may flash. To set the time:

1. Press and hold the Time Setting button (often combined with Volume + or -) until the hour digits flash.
2. Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press the Time Setting button again to move to minute adjustment.
4. Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the Time Setting button once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 FM Radio Operation

To listen to FM radio:

1. Press the Mode button to select FM radio mode.
2. Press the Previous or Next buttons to manually tune to a station.
3. To auto-scan and save stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button. The radio will scan and store available stations.
4. Use the Previous or Next buttons to cycle through saved presets.

For optimal reception, ensure the FM aerial is fully extended.

3.2 Bluetooth Speaker Functionality

The i-box Dawn can stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.

1. Press the Mode button until "BT" or a Bluetooth icon appears on the display. The unit will enter pairing mode.
2. On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for "i-box Dawn" in the list of available devices.
3. Select "i-box Dawn" to pair. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.
4. You can now play music from your device. Use the Play/Pause, Previous, and Next buttons on the i-box Dawn to control playback.

3.3 Alarm Clock Features

The i-box Dawn supports dual alarms, allowing for two separate wake-up times.

1. Press and hold the Alarm Setting button (often combined with Volume -) to enter Alarm 1 setting. The alarm hour will flash.
2. Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the hour. Press Alarm Setting to confirm.
3. Adjust the minutes similarly, then press Alarm Setting to confirm.
4. Select the alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio) using the Volume + and Volume - buttons. Press Alarm Setting to confirm.
5. Repeat steps for Alarm 2.
6. To activate/deactivate an alarm, short press the Alarm Setting button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
7. To snooze, press the large Snooze/Sleep/Dimmer button when the alarm sounds. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes.
8. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

3.4 Wireless Charging

The i-box Dawn features a built-in Qi wireless charging pad compatible with all Qi-enabled phones.

1. Place your Qi-enabled smartphone centrally on the wireless charging location (marked with a '+' symbol) on top of the unit.
2. Ensure the phone is correctly aligned for charging to begin. A charging indicator on your phone will confirm the connection.
3. Remove any thick cases or metallic objects from your phone, as these may interfere with wireless charging.

3.5 USB Charging

A 1A USB port is located on the back of the unit for charging additional devices.

• Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB Port on the back of the i-box Dawn.
• The unit will provide power to charge your device.

3.6 Display Brightness Adjustment

The LED display has 5 levels of brightness.

• Repeatedly press the Snooze/Sleep/Dimmer button to cycle through the brightness levels (Dim, Low, Medium, High, Full, Off).
• Select the desired brightness for your environment.

4.1 Cleaning

• Before cleaning, ensure the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
• Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

4.2 General Care

• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or high humidity.
• Keep the unit away from strong magnetic fields.
• Do not disassemble the unit. Refer to qualified service personnel for repairs.
