- Screw the auxiliary handle firmly into the desired threaded opening on the gear head.
4.2 Mounting the Disc Guard
The disc guard must always be used for safety and adjusted to direct sparks away from you.
- Place the disc guard onto the collar of the gear housing.
- Rotate the guard to the desired position, ensuring it covers the top of the disc and directs sparks away from the operator.
- Tighten the clamping lever to secure the guard in place.
4.3 Installing/Changing Grinding Discs
Always ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before changing discs.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button.
- Use the supplied spanner wrench to loosen and remove the clamping nut.
- Remove the old disc and clean the flanges.
- Place the new disc onto the lower flange, ensuring it sits flat.
- Screw on the clamping nut and tighten it firmly with the spanner wrench while holding the spindle lock button.
4.4 Battery Installation
This tool is sold without a battery or charger. Use only Einhell Power X-Change 18V batteries.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Slide the charged battery pack into the battery receptacle on the tool until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

5.1 Switching On and Off

- Cutting: Hold the tool at a 90-degree angle to the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure. Do not tilt the cutting disc, as this can cause it to jam or break.
- Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped to prevent movement.
- Avoid overloading the tool. If the tool slows down significantly, reduce pressure.
