3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembly

  1. Ensure the pump is clean and free of debris.
  2. Attach the provided nozzle to the pump's outlet.
  3. Connect one end of the tubing to the nozzle.
  4. If desired, attach the suction cups to the bottom of the pump for secure placement.

3.2 Placement

Place the assembled pump completely submerged in water within your pet fountain, aquarium, or other water feature. Ensure the water level is sufficient to cover the pump entirely to prevent dry running, which can damage the motor.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the USB power cord to a compatible DC 5V USB power source. This can include:

  • USB wall adapter (e.g., phone charger)

  • USB power strip

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On

Once the pump is fully submerged and connected to a power source, it will begin operating. There is no separate on/off switch; operation is controlled by connecting or disconnecting the USB power.

4.2 Adjusting Flow Rate

The pump features an adjustable knob located on its side. Rotate this knob to increase or decrease the water flow rate according to your application's requirements. The maximum flow rate is 50 GPH, and it can elevate water up to 2.0 feet.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Pump

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the pump's performance and longevity. The pump is designed for easy disassembly without tools.

  1. Disconnect the pump from its power source.
  2. Remove the pump from the water.
  3. Gently detach the front cover and impeller assembly. Refer to Image 2 for guidance on detachable parts.
  4. Rinse all components under clean water to remove any accumulated debris, algae, or mineral deposits. A small brush may be used for stubborn residue.
  5. Inspect the impeller for any damage or wear.
  6. Reassemble the pump, ensuring all parts fit securely.
  7. Place the pump back into the water and reconnect power.

Note: The frequency of cleaning depends on the water quality and usage environment. For continuous operation, weekly or bi-weekly cleaning is recommended.
