5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Attaching the Earphone/Microphone Set
- Connect the earphone/microphone jack into the corresponding port on the V6 Pro unit.
- Attach the speaker pads to the inside of your helmet using the provided Velcro. Ensure speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal audio.
- Secure the microphone in front of your mouth, ensuring it is close but not touching.
5.2 Mounting the V6 Pro Unit to Your Helmet
The V6 Pro unit can be mounted using either the plastic clip or the metal clip for enhanced durability.
- Choose a suitable location on the side of your helmet.
- Attach the chosen mounting clip to the helmet. The metal clip offers a more secure and durable attachment.
- Slide the V6 Pro unit onto the mounted clip until it clicks securely into place.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Short-press the Intercom (Power/A) button. The indicator light will flash blue.
- Power Off: Long-press the Intercom (Power/A) button until the indicator light turns off.
6.2 Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Phone
- Ensure the V6 Pro is powered off.
- Long-press the Phone button until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "V6" or "EJEAS V6 Pro" from the list to connect. The indicator light on the V6 Pro will flash blue when successfully paired.
6.3 Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Short-press the Phone button.
- Volume Up: Short-press the Volume + button.
- Volume Down: Short-press the Volume - button.
- Next Track: Long-press the Volume - button.
- Previous Track: Long-press the Volume + button.
6.4 Phone Call Management
- Answer Call: The V6 Pro will automatically answer incoming calls after 5 seconds.
- Hang Up Call: Short-press the Phone button.
- Reject Call: Long-press the Phone button for 3 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Long-press the Phone button for 3 seconds when not on a call.
6.5 Intercom Pairing (Multiple Units)
The V6 Pro supports pairing with up to 5 other units (total 6 riders). One unit acts as the 'master' and can communicate with any of the 'sub-units'.
- Ensure all V6 Pro units are powered off.
- On all units, long-press the Intercom (Power/A) button until the indicator lights flash red and blue alternately.
- Choose one unit to be the 'master'. On the master unit, short-press the Intercom (Power/A) button to start searching for other units.
- Wait for 5-10 seconds. When the master and a sub-unit are flashing blue at the same rate, pairing is successful.
- To pair additional units, repeat steps 2-4, using the master unit to initiate pairing with each new sub-unit by pressing the corresponding button (B, C, D, E) on the master unit.
6.6 Intercom Communication
- After successful pairing, short-press the Intercom (Power/A) button on the master unit to enter intercom mode.
- To switch communication to a specific sub-unit, short-press the corresponding button (A, B, C, D, E) on the master unit.
- Only two machines can speak at the same time. All communication switching must be done by the master unit.
6.7 Reconnecting Intercom Units
To reconnect previously paired units:
- Power on all V6 Pro units by short-pressing the Intercom (Power/A) button.
- On the master unit, short-press the Intercom (Power/A) button to re-establish the intercom connection.
- For multiple units, short-press the corresponding button (A, B, C, D, E) on the master unit to reconnect each sub-unit.
6.8 Reset (Clear Pairing Records)
To clear all pairing records from a V6 Pro unit:
- Ensure the V6 Pro unit is powered on.
- Press the Phone button and Button B simultaneously.
- The indicator light will flash red twice and then blue once, confirming that pairing records have been removed.

- Intermittent Connection: Ensure units are within the specified range and there are no significant obstacles. Avoid strong electromagnetic interference.
