Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your mixer grinder.
General Operation
- Prepare Ingredients: Cut ingredients into small pieces to facilitate grinding and prevent overloading.
- Load Jar: Place the prepared ingredients into the appropriate jar. Do not fill the jar beyond 2/3 of its capacity to allow for proper blending and prevent spillage.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly on the jar and ensure it is properly locked. The polycarbonate lids are designed to hold contents securely.
- Attach Jar to Motor Unit: Place the loaded jar onto the motor unit. Turn it clockwise until it locks securely into position.
- Select Speed: Ensure the mixer grinder is plugged in. Turn the speed control knob to the desired setting:
- WHIPP: For momentary operation, ideal for whipping or quick pulses.
- LOW: For light grinding or initial mixing.
- MED: For general grinding tasks.
- HIGH: For heavy-duty grinding and fine results.
- Monitor: During operation, hold the lid firmly. If necessary, use the provided spatula to push ingredients towards the blades, but only when the motor is off.
- Stop Operation: Once grinding is complete, turn the speed control knob back to the "OFF" position. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Remove Jar: Turn the jar anti-clockwise to unlock it from the motor unit, then lift it off.
Usage Guidelines
- Continuous Operation: Do not operate the mixer grinder continuously for more than 5 minutes. Allow a cooling period of at least 2-3 minutes between cycles to prevent motor overheating.
- Overload Protection: The mixer grinder is equipped with an overload protector. If the motor stops due to overloading, switch off the appliance, unplug it, and press the reset button located at the bottom of the motor unit. Reduce the quantity of ingredients before restarting.
- Dry Grinding: Use the medium jar for dry spices, grains, or nuts. Ensure ingredients are completely dry.
- Wet Grinding/Blending: Use the large jar for making purees, batters, or milkshakes. Add sufficient liquid for smooth blending.
- Chutney Grinding: Use the small chutney jar for grinding small quantities of spices, herbs, or making chutneys.
