5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GuliKit Route Air Bluetooth Adapter, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the adapter dry. Avoid exposure to moisture, rain, or liquids, as these can damage internal components.
  • Clean the adapter gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
  • Store the adapter in a cool, dry place when not in use, away from extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the adapter to strong impacts, as this can cause physical damage.
  • When transporting, utilize the protective cover for the USB-C port to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GuliKit Route Air, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Device Not Pairing:
    • Ensure your Bluetooth audio device is in pairing mode.
    • Confirm the Route Air's LED is blinking white, indicating it's in pairing mode.
    • Reset the Route Air by pressing both A and B buttons for 4 seconds, then re-attempt pairing.
    • Ensure the adapter is fully inserted into the console/PC's USB-C port or the USB-A adapter.
  • No Audio Output (especially with SBC codec):
    • If your earphone only supports SBC, double-pressing for mode switch might cause no audio output. Try re-pairing or ensuring your device supports aptX/aptX LL for better compatibility.
    • Check the volume levels on both your console/PC and your audio device.
  • Intermittent Connection or Poor Audio Quality:
    • Ensure you are within the 10-meter transmission range.
    • Minimize physical obstructions between the adapter and your audio device.
    • Avoid strong electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices.
    • For TWS earphones, note that they may have weaker signal strength and anti-interference ability compared to ordinary Bluetooth earphones due to size limitations.
