Important Safeguards
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
- Do not touch cold surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended household use.
- Use only potable water for ice production.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any tape or labels.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stove, furnace, radiator). Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the unit. Open the drain plug at the bottom to empty any residual water. Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. It is also recommended to run the self-cleaning cycle (refer to the Maintenance section) before making ice for consumption.
- First Use Delay: After transportation, allow the unit to sit upright for at least one hour before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Operating Instructions
- Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.
- Power On: Press the POWER button on the control panel to turn on the unit.
- Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose between small or large ice cubes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The unit will begin making ice. The first batch may take slightly longer (approximately 7-15 minutes) as the system stabilizes. Subsequent batches will be faster (approximately 6-8 minutes).
- Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically pause ice production. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
- Add Water Indicator: When the water reservoir is low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to the reservoir to resume ice production.
- Power Off: Press the POWER button to turn off the unit.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.
- Daily Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Interior Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, especially if the unit is not used frequently or if you notice mineral buildup:
- Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty of ice.
- Open the drain plug at the bottom to completely drain any water from the reservoir.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Self-Cleaning Function: This feature helps remove limescale and ensures fresh-tasting ice.
- Ensure the unit is empty of ice and water.
- Fill the water reservoir with water and a small amount of white vinegar or lemon juice (or a mild descaling solution suitable for ice makers).
- Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning program. The "CLEANING" indicator light will illuminate.
- The cycle will run for approximately 5 minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the cleaning solution through the drain plug.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh water and drain again to remove any residual cleaning solution.
- Wipe the interior dry with a clean cloth.
- Storage: If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure all water is drained, the unit is clean, and completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place.
