Setup
Battery Installation
Your Logitech K580 keyboard comes with two AAA batteries pre-installed. To activate, simply remove the pull tab from the battery compartment located on the underside of the keyboard. If replacing batteries, ensure correct polarity.
Connecting via USB Unifying Receiver
- Locate the USB Unifying receiver in the keyboard's battery compartment or packaging.
- Plug the Unifying receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard should automatically connect.
Connecting via Bluetooth Wireless Technology
- Turn on the keyboard using the power switch on the side.
- Press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1 or 2) for three seconds until the LED light on the key starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech K580" from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED light on the Easy-Switch key will turn solid for 5 seconds, then turn off, indicating successful pairing.

Operating Instructions
Multi-Device Switching (Easy-Switch)
The K580 keyboard allows you to connect to and switch between two different devices. Once paired, simply press the Easy-Switch keys (1 or 2) to instantly switch typing between your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

FN Key Shortcuts
The keyboard features 12 FN keys that provide quick access to various functions. These shortcuts are optimized for different operating systems. For example, you can switch between Windows and Mac layouts by holding Fn+O for Mac or Fn+P for Windows for 3 seconds.
Integrated Phone Holder
The integrated cradle at the top of the keyboard securely holds your smartphone or tablet at an ideal angle for typing and viewing.
Quiet Typing Experience
The K580 features scissor switches that provide a fluid, laptop-like typing experience with minimal noise, ideal for quiet environments.

Maintenance
Battery Life and Replacement
The K580 keyboard offers up to 24 months of battery life, thanks to an auto-sleep feature that conserves power when not in use. When the battery is low, the LED indicator on the Easy-Switch keys will flash. To replace batteries, open the compartment on the underside of the keyboard and insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

Cleaning the Keyboard

Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Connecting
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
- For USB receiver: Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard.
- Ensure you are within the 10m wireless operating distance.
Keys Not Responding
