5. Operation and Adjustments
The MBC311T mount offers several adjustment features to optimize your display setup.
5.1 Height Adjustment
The telescoping extension pole allows for flexible height positioning.
- Standard Height: Position the center of the TV mounting plate between 24.3 inches and 39.3 inches (61.7 cm to 99.8 cm) from the ceiling.
- Reduced Height: For tighter spaces, remove the inner pole to achieve a distance of 12.7 inches to 17 inches (32.3 cm to 43.2 cm) from the ceiling.
To adjust height, loosen the locking mechanism on the extension pole, adjust to the desired height, and re-tighten securely.
5.2 Precision Leveling
Micro height adjustments can be made on each mounting bracket to ensure perfect alignment of your displays.
- Use the precision leveling screws on each VESA bracket to fine-tune the vertical position of individual screens.
5.3 Tilt Adjustment
Adjust the tilt of your displays to improve line-of-sight.
- The mounting brackets can be tilted forward at 5°, 10°, or 15°.
- To compensate for potential lean, the brackets can also be angled up to 6° backward.
To adjust tilt, loosen the tilt locking mechanism on the VESA bracket, set to the desired angle, and re-tighten.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Kanto MBC311T mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Damage Check: Inspect the mount for any signs of damage or wear. If damage is found, discontinue use and contact Kanto customer support.
