1. Download the HBN Smart app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

4.2 Device Pairing

Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The HBN Smart Plug only operates on 2.4GHz WiFi. If you are using a dual-band router, ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz signal.

1. Plug the HBN Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet.
2. Open the HBN Smart app.
3. In the app, tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon to begin the pairing process.
4. Confirm that the indicator light on the smart plug is blinking rapidly. If not, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to connect the smart plug to your WiFi network.
