Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your LEXIN B4FM headset onto your helmet.
- Choose Microphone Type: Select either the Boom Microphone for open-face or flip-face helmets, or the Button Microphone for full-face helmets.
- Mounting the Unit: Attach the mounting bracket to the side of your helmet using either the clamp plate (for helmets with an edge) or the 3M tape bracket (for flat surfaces). Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Speaker Placement: Position the Hi-Fi speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Use the provided speaker pads to ensure the speakers are close to your ears for optimal sound quality.
- Microphone Placement: Route the microphone cable and position the microphone appropriately. For the Boom Mic, ensure it is close to your mouth. For the Button Mic, attach it to the inside of the helmet near your mouth.
- Connect Cables: Plug the speaker and microphone cables into the main B4FM unit.
- Attach Main Unit: Slide the B4FM main unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.

Initial Pairing with Mobile Phone
To use features like music and phone calls, pair your B4FM unit with your mobile phone.
- Ensure the B4FM unit is powered off.
