Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, serious injury, or death.

• UL and cUL Certified: This heater is certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Canada, ensuring the highest safety standards.
• Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection system that shuts off the unit if it becomes too hot.
• Tip-Over Protection: A built-in tip-over sensor automatically turns off the heater if it is accidentally knocked over.
• Safe to Touch: The exterior of the heater remains warm to the touch, making it safe around children and pets. It does not have exposed heating elements that can cause a fire.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

Setup

1. Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any combustible materials. Do not block air intake or exhaust vents.
3. Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V, 15A, 60Hz grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
4. Remote Control: Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel and Remote:

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control. The remote control functions mirror the buttons on the control panel.

Powering On/Off:

• Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
• When first powered on, the heater will enter standby mode. Press the MODE button to select a heating mode.

Setting Temperature:

• Use the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) arrow buttons on the control panel or remote to adjust the desired room temperature between 50°F and 86°F.
• The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.

Selecting Operating Modes:

• Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote to cycle through the following settings:
• ECO Mode: The heater automatically cycles between 1000W and 1500W to maintain the set temperature efficiently.
• HIGH Mode: Operates at 1500W for maximum heat output.
• LOW Mode: Operates at 1000W for reduced heat output and energy consumption.

Using the Timer:

• Press the TIMER button on the control panel or remote to activate the timer function.
• Use the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) arrow buttons to set the desired operating time from 1 to 12 hours.
• The heater will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning of the air filter is essential for maintaining the heater's efficiency and lifespan.

1. Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off the heater and unplug it from the wall outlet before performing any maintenance.
2. Locate Filter: The reusable air filter is located at the rear of the unit.
3. Remove Filter: Gently slide out the filter from its slot.
4. Clean Filter: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the filter. For heavier buildup, rinse the filter with warm water (do not use soap). Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting.
5. Reinstall Filter: Slide the clean, dry filter back into its slot.
6. Frequency: Clean the filter at least once a month, or more frequently if the heater is used often or in dusty environments.
