1. Product Overview

The Intex 28426 Bubble Spa Set offers a relaxing bubble massage experience in a durable and comfortable design. This round, beige spa measures 196 x 71 cm and has a capacity of 795 liters, comfortably seating up to 4 people. It features patented air chamber technology for enhanced stability and user comfort, along with a powerful pool pump with a capacity of 1741 l/h to ensure clean and circulating water.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before installing and using this product. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death.

General Safety

  • Always supervise children and individuals with disabilities when they are in or near the spa.
  • Do not use the spa if you are pregnant, have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other health conditions without consulting a doctor.
  • Avoid using the spa immediately after a heavy meal or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Maintain proper water chemistry to prevent waterborne illnesses.
  • Do not dive or jump into the spa.

Electrical Safety

  • Connect the spa only to a grounded outlet protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
  • Do not use extension cords with this product.
  • Keep all electrical appliances away from the spa.
  • Ensure hands are dry when plugging or unplugging the unit.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Site Preparation

  • Choose a flat, level, and stable surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled spa (approximately 841 kg or 1854 lbs).
  • Ensure the area is free from sharp objects, debris, or uneven ground.
  • Allow sufficient space around the spa for maintenance and access. A minimum recommended space of 2.95m x 2.95m is advised.

3.2 Inflation

  • Unfold the spa liner and place it on the prepared ground cloth.
  • Connect the inflation hose from the control unit to the spa's inflation valve.
  • Turn on the inflation function on the control panel. Inflate until the spa walls are firm but not rigid. Do not overinflate.
  • Disconnect the hose and securely close the valve.

3.3 Filling the Spa

  • Ensure the drain valve cap is securely closed.
  • Fill the spa with fresh water using a garden hose, up to the maximum fill line indicated on the interior wall.
  • Do not overfill.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Functions

The control panel allows you to manage all spa functions. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and their indicators.

  • Power Button: Turns the spa on or off.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the up/down arrows to set your desired water temperature. The maximum temperature is typically 40°C (104°F).
  • Bubble Button: Activates the bubble massage function. Press again to turn off.
  • Filter Button: Turns the filtration system on or off. It is recommended to run the filter daily to maintain water clarity.
  • Heater Button: Activates the water heating function. The heater will turn off automatically once the set temperature is reached.

4.2 Bubble Massage Function

Press the bubble button on the control panel to activate the 120 high-powered bubble jets. Enjoy the soothing massage. The bubble function will automatically shut off after 30 minutes to prevent overheating and conserve energy. You can restart it if desired.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Water Treatment

  • Regularly test the spa water using test strips to ensure proper pH and sanitizer levels.
  • Add appropriate spa chemicals as needed to maintain water balance and prevent algae growth.
  • Clean or replace the filter cartridge frequently (every 1-2 weeks depending on usage) to ensure efficient filtration.

5.2 Cleaning the Spa

  • Periodically clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the spa with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes that could damage the vinyl material.

5.3 Draining and Storage

  • To drain the spa, connect a garden hose to the drain valve and open the valve. Direct the water to a suitable drainage area.
  • Once drained, wipe the interior dry.
  • Deflate the spa and control unit. Ensure all components are completely dry before folding and storing in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Always use the provided spa cover when the spa is not in use to maintain water temperature and keep debris out.
