5. Setup

5.1. Battery Charging

  1. Insert the 18V 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery into the provided 2.0A fast charger.
  2. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
  4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

5.2. Attaching Polishing Pads

The polisher features a hook&loop backing plate for easy pad attachment:

  1. Ensure the polisher is turned off and the battery is removed.
  2. Align the desired sponge or wool polishing pad with the hook&loop backing plate.
  3. Press the pad firmly onto the backing plate to secure it.
  4. To remove, simply peel the pad off the backing plate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off and Speed Adjustment

  1. Insert a charged 18V battery into the polisher until it clicks into place.
  2. To turn on the polisher, press the main switch. The tool is equipped with safety lock buttons to prevent accidental activation.
  3. Adjust the speed using the 7-variable speed dial, ranging from 2000 to 4800 OPM. Lower speeds are suitable for waxing and buffing, while higher speeds are for polishing and removing defects.
  4. To turn off, release the main switch.

6.2. Application Guidelines

  • Waxing & Buffing: Use lower speed settings (1-3) with soft foam pads or wool pads for even application and gentle buffing.
  • Polishing & Cleaning: Medium speed settings (3-5) are ideal for general polishing and cleaning tasks.
  • Removing Paint Defects & Oxidation: Higher speed settings (5-7) with appropriate cutting pads and compounds can be used for paint correction. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
  • Maintain consistent pressure and movement across the surface to achieve uniform results.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

  • After each use, remove the polishing pad and clean it thoroughly with the provided pads cleaning brush and warm water. Allow pads to air dry completely.
