4. Setup and Installation

The JZAQ BT30 headset is designed for easy installation into most helmets using detachable Velcro pads.

4.1 Charging the Headset

  1. Locate the charging port on the control unit of the headset.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button (refer to Image 4.1 for button location) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator light illuminate.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "BT30" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light will turn blue and flash slowly, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  6. The headset will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

5.3 Call Control

  • Automatic Answering: The headset is designed to automatically answer incoming calls after a few rings.
  • Manual Answer/End Call: Press the Power button once to answer an incoming call or end an ongoing call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
  • Voice Assistant: Double-press the Power button to activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

5.4 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Power button once to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up: Press the "+" button to increase volume.
  • Volume Down: Press the "-" button to decrease volume.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the "+" button for 2 seconds.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the "-" button for 2 seconds.
