2. Safety Guidelines

Please read and understand all safety instructions before assembling, using, or disassembling the tent. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Assembly Safety: Always assemble the tent with a sufficient number of people (at least 4-6 adults are recommended) to safely handle the components. Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves, to prevent injuries. Ensure the assembly area is clear of obstructions and hazards.
  • Weather Conditions: This tent is designed for temporary use in moderate weather conditions. Do not use the tent in severe weather, including heavy winds (exceeding 20-25 mph), heavy rain, snow, or thunderstorms. High winds can cause the tent to lift or collapse, leading to significant damage or injury. Always monitor weather forecasts.
  • Anchoring: Always securely anchor the tent to the ground using all provided stakes and tie-down cords. Ensure the ground is suitable for staking. In areas with high winds or unstable ground, consider additional anchoring methods.
  • Fire Safety: While the tent fabric meets Flame-Retardant Standards CPAI-84 and NFPA 701, it is not fireproof. Keep all heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials away from the tent. Do not use barbecues, heaters, or cooking equipment inside or too close to the tent.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially if the tent is fully enclosed with side walls, to prevent condensation and maintain air quality.
  • Structural Integrity: Regularly inspect all frame connections, ropes, and stakes for tightness and wear. Do not hang heavy objects from the tent frame.

For any concerns regarding safety or product integrity, contact customer support immediately.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires at least 4-6 adults. Follow these steps carefully. Refer to the provided diagrams and component labels for precise connections.

  1. Prepare the Site: Choose a flat, level area free of sharp objects, overhead power lines, and other hazards. Ensure sufficient space for the tent's dimensions (40'x20') plus additional working room.
  2. Assemble the Roof Frame: Lay out the roof frame poles and connectors according to the diagram. Connect the ridge poles and roof rafters using the appropriate joints. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Install Roof Tension Wires: Attach the roof tension wires as indicated in the manual to add rigidity to the roof structure.
  4. Drape the Top Cover: Carefully unfold the PVC top cover and drape it over the assembled roof frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed. Secure the cover to the frame as per instructions, typically using bungee cords or ties.
  5. Attach Leg Poles: Connect the leg poles to the roof frame structure. With assistance, carefully lift the frame and insert the leg poles into the ground plates or base connectors.
  6. Secure the Base: Once the frame is upright, attach the heavy-duty corner stakes and other ground stakes. Use the ratchet tie-down tension cords to firmly anchor the tent to the ground. Ensure all cords are taut and evenly tensioned.
  7. Install Side and End Walls: Attach the PVC window walls and end panels to the frame. These are typically secured with zippers, Velcro, or ties. The end panels with transparent upper triangle sections should be placed at the desired ends.
  8. Final Inspection: Double-check all connections, anchors, and fabric attachments to ensure the tent is securely assembled and stable.
