This T5 LED shop light features 2200 lumens brightness using only 22W, providing a significant reduction in energy usage compared to traditional fluorescent tubes.

2. Safety Information

5. Installation Instructions

Always ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.

5.1 Mounting the Fixture

1. Prepare the mounting surface: Identify the desired location for your LED shop light. Ensure the surface (wall or ceiling) is suitable for mounting.
2. Install mounting clips: Use the provided screws and anchors (if necessary for drywall) to securely fasten the mounting clips to the surface. Two clips are typically sufficient per fixture.

3. Secure the LED fixture: Gently push the LED light fixture into the installed mounting clips until it snaps securely into place.

5.2 Connecting Multiple Fixtures (Linkable Design)

The hykolity LED shop lights can be linked together in series, up to a maximum of 7 fixtures.

1. Extension Connection (20-inch cable): For spacing between fixtures, use the provided 20-inch linkable cables to connect the male end of one fixture to the female end of another.
2. Seamless Connection: For a continuous light line, use the seamless connectors to directly join two fixtures end-to-end.

5.3 Power Connection

Choose one of the following methods to power your LED shop lights:

1. Plug and Play (59-inch power cord): Connect the 59-inch power cord with the On/Off switch to the first fixture in your series. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
2. Hardwiring: For permanent installations, the fixture can be hardwired. This requires a qualified electrician to connect the input wire cable directly to your AC power supply. Ensure proper wiring (Live, Neutral, Ground) according to local electrical codes.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected to power, operate the light using the integrated On/Off switch on the power cord (for plug-and-play installations) or your wall switch (for hardwired installations). The 6500K daylight white light provides bright and clear visibility for various indoor applications such as garages, workshops, basements, and storage areas.

• Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Periodically check for any loose connections or damage to the fixture or wiring. Address any issues promptly.
• Lamp Replacement: The LED lamps are integrated and not designed for user replacement. If the lamp fails, the entire fixture should be replaced.
