Product Overview
The Canon EOS M200 is a compact mirrorless digital camera designed for high-quality imaging and video recording. It features a 24.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Eye Detection AF, and supports 4K video recording. Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The standard package includes the Canon EOS M200 camera body and the EF-M 15-45mm lens.

2. Attaching the Lens
- Remove the camera body cap and the rear lens cap.
- Align the white index mark on the lens with the white index mark on the camera body.
- Insert the lens into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.

3. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
- Open the battery/card compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the battery pack with the electrical contacts facing the correct direction until it locks into place.
- Insert a compatible SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory card into the card slot until it clicks. Ensure the card is facing the correct way.
- Close the compartment cover securely.

4. Charging the Battery
Use the supplied battery charger to charge the battery. The indicator lamp on the charger will show the charging status.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the power switch to the ON position. To power off, slide it to OFF.
2. Basic Shooting Modes
The EOS M200 offers various shooting modes accessible via the mode dial on top of the camera:
- Scene Intelligent Auto (A+): Fully automatic mode for easy shooting.
- Creative Assist: Adjust settings like brightness, background blur, and color tone with a visual guide.
- Self-Portrait Mode: Optimized for selfies, utilizing the 180° tiltable LCD.
- Movie Mode: For recording videos, including 4K and vertical video.
- Manual (M), Aperture-priority (Av), Shutter-priority (Tv), Program AE (P): Advanced modes for greater control.

3. Using the Touch Panel LCD
The 3.0-inch LCD screen is touch-sensitive, allowing for intuitive operation:
- Touch Shutter: Tap the screen to focus and take a picture.
- Menu Navigation: Tap icons and options to navigate menus.
- Playback: Swipe to browse images, pinch-to-zoom.
- Tilt Function: The screen can be tilted up to 180° for self-portraits and vlogging.

4. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity
The camera features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for easy sharing and remote control:
- Canon Camera Connect App: Download the app to your smartphone or tablet.
- Image Transfer: Wirelessly transfer photos and videos to your smart device.
- Remote Live View Shooting: Control the camera and capture images remotely from your device.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Camera and Lens
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the camera body.
- For the lens, use a lens brush to remove dust, then a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth.
- Avoid touching the lens surface directly with your fingers.
- Keep the lens cap on when not in use to protect the front element.

2. Battery Care

3. Storage
When storing the camera for extended periods, remove the battery and memory card. Store the camera in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably in a camera bag with desiccant packets to prevent mold and mildew.
