Setup
Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the microwave oven. Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven and contact your dealer.
Placement
- Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in the oven.
- Allow at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) of space on the top, sides, and rear of the oven for proper ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Do not place the microwave near a heat source, such as a range or oven, or in a damp area like near a sink.
- Keep the microwave away from radio and TV to avoid interference.
Electrical Requirements
This appliance must be grounded. The microwave is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall outlet that is properly installed and grounded. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.

Turntable Installation
Place the turntable ring in the circular indentation on the microwave oven floor. Place the glass turntable tray on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it is seated securely.

Operating Your Microwave
Control Panel Overview
The control panel features various buttons for setting cooking time, power levels, and special functions. Common buttons include:
- Power Level: Adjusts the cooking power.
- Time Cook: Sets the manual cooking time.
- Defrost: For defrosting food by weight or time.
- Express Cook (e.g., 1-6 minutes): One-touch cooking for common times.
- Clock: Sets the current time.
- Timer: Functions as a kitchen timer.
- Start: Begins the cooking cycle.
- Stop/Cancel: Stops or clears the cooking cycle.
Setting the Clock
- Press the Clock button.
- Use the number pads to enter the current time (e.g., 12:30).
- Press the Clock button again to confirm.
Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable. Close the door.
- Press the Time Cook button.
- Use the number pads to enter the desired cooking time.
- To adjust power level (optional): Press Power Level, then use number pads to select a power level (e.g., 7 for 70% power).
- Press Start to begin cooking.
Express Cooking
For quick cooking, simply press one of the Express Cook buttons (e.g., '1' for 1 minute, '2' for 2 minutes). The microwave will start immediately at full power.
Defrosting
This microwave offers defrosting by time or weight.
- Time Defrost: Press Defrost once, enter the defrosting time using number pads, then press Start.
- Weight Defrost: Press Defrost twice, enter the food weight (e.g., 1.0 for 1 pound) using number pads, then press Start.
Using the Timer
- Press the Timer button.
- Enter the desired time using the number pads.
- Press Start. The timer will count down without operating the microwave.
Stopping/Canceling
To pause cooking, open the door or press Stop/Cancel once. To cancel a program completely, press Stop/Cancel twice.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Cleaning the Interior
Wipe the interior cavity, door seals, and door with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn food splatters, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for a few minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean.
Cleaning the Turntable
The glass turntable tray and turntable ring can be washed in warm soapy water or in the top rack of a dishwasher.
Troubleshooting
