2. Safety Information
Always prioritize your child's safety. Read and understand all instructions before using the stroller. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury.
- Always use the 5-point harness to secure your child.
- Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
- Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
- Do not overload the stroller or the underseat storage. The maximum recommended weight for the child is 22 kg. The underseat storage holds up to 8 kg.
- Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc., in the near vicinity of the stroller.
- Do not use accessories or spare parts other than those approved by Bugaboo.
- This stroller is not suitable for running or skating.
- Always apply the brakes when parking the stroller.
3. Setup
3.1 Unfolding the Stroller
The Bugaboo Ant folds into an ultra-compact size for easy transport. To unfold:
- Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
- Release the folding latch.
- Lift the handlebar until the frame locks into place.

3.2 Attaching the Seat Fabric and Sun Hood

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adjusting the Handlebar
The handlebar is height-adjustable for comfort and steering performance. Use the one-handed operation mechanism to extend or retract the handlebar to your desired height.

4.2 Reclining the Seat
The ergonomic seat can be reclined into three different positions, offering comfort and support for your child. Adjust the recline by pressing the recline buttons located on the side of the seat unit.

4.3 Reversing the Seat Direction
The innovative reversible seat allows your child to face you or face the world. To change the seat direction, follow the specific instructions in your quick start guide or refer to the Bugaboo support website.

4.4 Folding the Stroller
The Bugaboo Ant folds into a compact size (55 x 38 x 23 cm) suitable for overhead storage on most airlines. To fold:
- Ensure the seat is in the most upright position.
- Retract the handlebar fully.

4.5 Using the Brakes
The stroller is equipped with a foot-operated brake. Press down firmly on the brake pedal to engage the brakes. Lift the pedal to release. Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.

- Fabric parts: The seat fabric and sun hood can be removed and are machine washable. Refer to the care labels for specific washing instructions.
