Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your docking station:
- Install DisplayLink Driver: The docking station requires a DisplayLink driver for full functionality. Download the latest driver from the official DisplayLink website: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads.
- Install the Driver: Run the downloaded installer on your laptop or PC and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. After installation, open the DisplayLink application.
- Connect Power: Connect the provided 135W external power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the docking station and then plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect to Host Device: Connect the docking station to your laptop or PC using the supplied USB-C cable. Plug one end into the USB Type-C Host port on the docking station and the other end into a compatible USB-C port on your computer.
- Connect Peripherals: You can now connect your monitors, USB devices, Ethernet cable, and audio devices to the respective ports on the docking station.
