1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the STIER SDR-300 Pressure Washer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Always connect the pressure washer to a properly grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords unless they are rated for outdoor use and heavy-duty appliances. Keep all electrical connections dry and off the ground.
  • High Pressure Hazard: The high-pressure jet can be dangerous if misused. Never direct the water jet at people, pets, or electrical equipment. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Water Supply: Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris. Do not use the pressure washer with hot water or corrosive liquids.
  • Stability: Operate the pressure washer on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Children and Bystanders: Keep children and bystanders away from the operating area.
  • Maintenance: Disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

3. Setup

3.1 Assembly

  1. Attach the wheels to the base of the unit if not already assembled.
  2. Secure the handle to the main body of the pressure washer.
  3. Connect the high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer and to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight.
  4. Insert the desired nozzle into the spray gun.

3.2 Water Supply Connection

  1. Connect a garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the inlet filter is in place.
  2. Connect the other end of the garden hose to a water tap.
  3. Turn on the water tap completely to ensure a steady water flow to the pressure washer.

3.3 Power Connection

  1. Uncoil the power cable completely.
  2. Plug the power cable into a suitable, grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Unit

  1. Ensure all connections (water, high-pressure hose, power) are secure.
  2. Turn on the water supply completely.
  3. Press the ON/I switch on the pressure washer to start the motor.
  4. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to release air from the system and allow water to flow. Hold the trigger until a steady stream of water emerges.

4.2 Using Different Nozzles

The STIER SDR-300 comes with color-coded quick nozzles for various cleaning tasks:

  • Red (0° Nozzle): Extra strong, pinpoint pressure water jet for stubborn dirt. Use with caution.
  • Yellow (15° Nozzle - implied by 25° and 40°): For intensive cleaning.
  • Green (25° Nozzle): For intensive cleaning.
  • White (40° Nozzle): Medium pressure for larger surfaces.
  • Black (Chemical Nozzle): Lower pressure for sensitive surfaces and detergent application.

4.3 Detergent Application

  1. Fill the soap bottle with appropriate pressure washer detergent.
  2. Attach the soap bottle to the designated inlet on the pressure washer.
  3. Use the black chemical nozzle for detergent application.
  4. Adjust the detergent flow directly on the pressure washer if available.

4.4 Shutting Down

  1. Turn off the pressure washer by pressing the OFF/0 switch.
  2. Turn off the water supply at the tap.
  3. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
  4. Disconnect the power cable from the outlet.
  5. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

5.1 Cleaning the Inlet Filter

Periodically check and clean the inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump. Remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert it.

5.2 Draining and Storage

Before storing the pressure washer, especially in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the pump and hoses to prevent damage.

  • Disconnect all hoses.
  • Run the motor for a few seconds with no water supply to expel any remaining water.
  • Store the unit in a dry, frost-free location.

5.3 Hose and Accessory Care

Inspect hoses and nozzles regularly for wear or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately. Clean nozzles with the provided cleaning stick if they become clogged.

6. Troubleshooting
