2. Safety Information
Read all safety warnings and instructions before assembling and using this product. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may result in property damage or injury.
- Secure Anchoring: Always secure the canopy properly with the provided weights, ropes, and stakes to prevent wind damage. Inadequate anchoring can lead to the canopy lifting or collapsing.
- Weather Conditions: Do not use the canopy in severe weather conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain, snow, or thunderstorms. Disassemble and store the canopy during adverse weather.
- Fire Retardancy: Although the canopy fabric is fire retardant (CPAI-84, NFPA 701 & ULC S109 certified), keep it away from open flames, heaters, and other ignition sources.
- Assembly Personnel: While designed for easy setup, it is recommended that 1 or 2 persons assemble the 10x20 canopy. For larger sizes or in windy conditions, more personnel may be required for safety.
- Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance around the canopy during setup and use to avoid contact with obstacles or structures.

Follow these steps for safe and efficient assembly of your Eurmax canopy tent. It is recommended to have at least two people for setup.
4.1. Frame Expansion

- With a person at each end, gently pull the frame outwards to partially expand it. Do not fully extend yet.

4.2. Attaching the Canopy Top
- Unfold the canopy top cover and place it over the partially expanded frame. Ensure the Eurmax logo is facing the desired front.
- Secure the canopy top to the frame using the Velcro straps located at the corners and along the truss bars. Ensure a snug fit.
4.3. Full Expansion and Height Adjustment
- Continue to pull the frame outwards until it is fully expanded. The latest thumb lock system will engage automatically at the corners.
- To adjust the height, locate the thumb button height adjusters on each leg. Press the button and slide the leg to your desired height position. There are three height positions available: 10.35 ft, 11.25 ft, and 11.35 ft (peak height). Ensure all four legs are set to the same height.

4.4. Anchoring the Canopy
- Fill the 6 provided sand weight bags with sand or other heavy material. Attach one bag to each leg of the canopy.

6.1. Cleaning
- Clean the canopy top with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Canopy difficult to open/close | Frame joints are stiff or misaligned. | Ensure frame is on a level surface. Apply light lubricant to moving parts if necessary. Ensure two people are assisting. |
| Canopy unstable or swaying | Inadequate anchoring; uneven ground; strong winds. | Always use sandbags on each leg. Utilize ropes and stakes for additional security. Relocate to a more sheltered area or disassemble in strong winds. Ensure legs are at the same height. |
| Water pooling on canopy top | Canopy not fully tensioned; heavy rainfall. | Ensure the frame is fully extended and the canopy top is securely attached and tensioned. Lower the canopy height slightly to allow water runoff if pooling persists. |
| Fabric tearing or fraying | Contact with sharp objects; prolonged exposure to elements; improper folding. | Inspect the area for sharp objects before setup. Avoid dragging the canopy on rough surfaces. Fold carefully during storage. Small tears can be repaired with a patch kit. |
