4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the ASHATA G5 Smart Translator. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

• A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
• The device offers up to 48 hours of continuous use and 30 days of standby time on a full charge.

4.2 Installing the Wooask APP

For photo translation and enhanced features, download and install the Wooask APP on your smartphone. The app is available on both iOS and Android app stores.

1. Search for "Wooask" in your device's app store.
2. Download and install the application.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your ASHATA G5 Smart Translator with the app via Bluetooth.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Voice Translation

The ASHATA G5 Smart Translator supports two-way voice translation. Ensure the device is powered on and connected to the internet (via Wi-Fi or your smartphone's hotspot if using the app).

1. Select Languages: Use the device's buttons or the Wooask APP to select the source and target languages for translation. The device supports over 40 languages.
2. Speak: Press and hold the designated button (refer to device markings for specific buttons for each language direction) and speak clearly into the microphone.
3. Release: Release the button once you have finished speaking. The device will process your speech and play the translation aloud in the target language.

5.2 Photo Translation (via Wooask APP)

For translating text from images, use the photo translation feature within the Wooask APP.

1. Open App: Launch the Wooask APP on your smartphone.
2. Access Photo Translation: Navigate to the photo translation section within the app.
3. Capture Image: Use your smartphone's camera through the app to take a picture of the text you wish to translate (e.g., a menu, sign, or document).
4. Translate: The app will recognize the text and provide a translation.
