3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the various components and controls of your mobile radio.

3.1 Front Panel and Microphone Controls
- LCD Display: Shows system information, menus, and application interfaces.
- Power/Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust volume; press to power on/off.
- Menu Button: Accesses the main menu.
- Up/Down Buttons: Navigate through menus and lists.
- Back Button: Returns to the previous screen.

4. Setup
4.1 SIM Card Installation
- Ensure the radio is powered off.
- Locate the SIM card slot, typically on the side or rear of the unit.
- Insert a standard SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Close the SIM card slot cover securely.
4.2 Antenna Connection
- Carefully screw the provided GSM antenna into the IP Antenna Port on the rear of the radio.
- Screw the GPS antenna into the dedicated GPS Antenna Port.
- Ensure both antennas are securely tightened to prevent signal loss.
4.3 Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the power adapter.
- Connect the power cable's screw-type connector to the Power Connector on the rear of the radio and tighten it securely.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet (DC 10-24V).
4.4 Microphone Connection
- Plug the microphone cable into the Mic Port on the front panel of the radio. Ensure a firm connection.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Volume knob until the display illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Volume knob until a power-off prompt appears on the screen. Confirm to shut down.
5.2 Basic Navigation
- Use the Up/Down buttons to scroll through menu options or lists.
- Press the Confirm button to select an item or enter a submenu.
- Press the Back button to return to the previous screen or exit a menu.
- The Menu button provides quick access to the main application menu.
5.3 PTT (Push-To-Talk) Functionality
- Ensure you are logged into your PTT application (e.g., ZELLO, Real PTT).
- To transmit, press and hold the PTT button on the microphone. Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the PTT button to listen for incoming transmissions.
- The Dial/PTT button on the radio unit can also be configured for PTT functionality.
5.4 Call Modes
The radio supports various call modes for flexible communication.

- Select Call Mode: Allows you to initiate a private call with a specific user. Add the desired user to your contact list and select them for a direct conversation.
- Group Call Mode: Enables communication with multiple users simultaneously within a predefined group. Users can be added to various groups, facilitating organized team communication.
- All Call Mode: Broadcasts your transmission to all users or all active groups within your network, suitable for general announcements.
5.5 GPS Functionality
The built-in GPS module provides accurate location tracking and related services.
