Installation (Setup)
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your Luxrite LED recessed light. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning.
- Prepare the Ceiling: Cut a 4-1/4 inch diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired installation location. Ensure there are no obstructions within the ceiling space.
- Wire the Junction Box: Open the junction box. Connect the electrical supply cable (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect Downlight to Junction Box: Connect the cable from the LED downlight fixture to the cable extending from the junction box. This connection is typically a plug-and-play type.
- Insert Junction Box: Carefully push the wired junction box through the cut-out hole into the ceiling.
- Secure Downlight: Push the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the downlight fixture upwards. Insert the downlight into the ceiling hole. The clips will automatically spring back down to secure the fixture flush against the ceiling.

Operating Instructions
Color Temperature Selection (CCT)
Your Luxrite LED recessed light offers five selectable color temperatures to suit various preferences and room ambiances. The color temperature switch is located on the junction box.
- 2700K Warm White: Provides a cozy, inviting glow, ideal for bedrooms and living areas.
- 3000K Soft White: A slightly brighter, warmer light, suitable for general living spaces.
- 3500K Natural White: A balanced, neutral light, good for kitchens and offices.
- 4000K Cool White: A crisp, energetic light, often used in task-oriented areas like workshops or modern kitchens.
- 5000K Bright White: A very bright, daylight-like light, best for areas requiring high visibility.
To change the color temperature, locate the switch on the side of the junction box and slide it to your desired setting. It is recommended to select the desired color temperature before final installation into the ceiling, or ensure easy access to the junction box if changes are anticipated.
