5. Operating Instructions
The OrtoPrime Commode Chair can be used in two primary ways:
5.1. As a Standalone Commode Chair
- Ensure the commode bucket is correctly inserted beneath the seat.
- The padded seat can be used for comfort when not in use as a commode, allowing it to function as a regular chair.
- When needed, lift the padded seat to expose the toilet opening.
- After use, replace the padded seat and remove the commode bucket for emptying and cleaning.

5.2. Over a Standard Toilet
- Adjust the chair's height so it comfortably fits over your existing toilet bowl. Ensure the chair's legs are stable and level.
- Remove the commode bucket. The chair will now function as a raised toilet seat with armrests for support.
- The clip-on bidet attachment can be used in this configuration for enhanced hygiene.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your commode chair and ensure hygiene.
- Commode Bucket: Empty and clean the commode bucket after each use. Use warm water and a mild disinfectant. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.
- Chair Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry immediately to prevent rust.
- Padded Parts: The padded seat, backrest, and armrests can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
- Bidet Attachment: Clean the bidet attachment with warm water and a mild disinfectant. Ensure all nozzles are clear of debris.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and pins to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect the rubber tips on the legs for wear and replace if necessary.
