Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

1. Remove the milk frother and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Wash the stainless steel jug, lid, and both stirring rings (frothing and heating) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The jug is dishwasher safe.

Assembly

3. Place the clear lid securely on top of the jug.
4. Unwind the power cord from the storage compartment under the base and plug it into a suitable power outlet (230V).

Operating Instructions

The SEVERIN Spuma 700 offers various functions for preparing milk-based beverages. Always ensure the jug is clean and dry before adding ingredients.

Frothing Milk (Hot or Cold)

1. Insert the serrated stirring ring into the jug.
2. Pour milk (animal or plant-based) into the jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line for frothing (approx. 350 ml).
3. Place the lid on the jug.
4. Turn the "Easy-Select" rotary dial to your desired temperature (45°C, 50°C, 55°C, 60°C, 65°C) for hot foam, or select the cold setting for cold foam. The LED ring will illuminate red for hot programs and blue for cold.
5. Press the power button in the center of the dial to start the frothing process.
6. The appliance will automatically stop when the program is complete. Carefully remove the jug and pour the frothed milk.

Heating Milk (without frothing)

1. Insert the smooth stirring ring into the jug.
2. Pour milk into the jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line for heating (approx. 700 ml).
3. Place the lid on the jug.
4. Turn the "Easy-Select" rotary dial to your desired heating temperature (45°C, 50°C, 55°C, 60°C, 65°C). The LED ring will illuminate red.
5. Press the power button to start.
6. The appliance will automatically stop when the milk reaches the selected temperature.

Making Hot Chocolate

1. Insert the smooth stirring ring into the jug.
2. Pour milk into the jug (up to 700 ml).
3. Add chocolate powder, flakes, or small pieces of chocolate through the opening in the lid during the heating process.
4. Select your desired temperature using the "Easy-Select" dial.
5. Press the power button to start. The stirring ring will continuously mix the chocolate into the milk.
6. The appliance will stop automatically when ready.
