Setup
Powering the Unit:
AC Power:
- Ensure the unit is switched off.
- Insert the AC power cord into the AC socket on the back of the boombox.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard wall outlet.
Battery Power:
- Ensure the unit is switched off and disconnected from AC power.
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 6 x 1.5V 'C' size batteries (not supplied), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
CD Player Operation:
- Switch the function selector to 'CD' mode.
- Open the CD compartment cover by gently lifting it up.
- Place a CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover by pushing it down until it clicks.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to skip tracks or fast forward/rewind.
- Press the STOP button to stop playback.
- The REPEAT button allows you to repeat the current track or all tracks.
- The PROG button allows programming of tracks.
Cassette Player Operation:
- Switch the function selector to 'TAPE' mode.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette door.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Use the FAST FORWARD (FF) and REWIND (REW) buttons to navigate the tape.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop playback and eject the tape.
- To record, press the RECORD button while in TAPE mode and playing from CD, Radio, or AUX.
FM Radio Operation:
- Switch the function selector to 'RADIO' mode.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired FM radio station.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your preferred listening level.
AUX Input Operation:
- Switch the function selector to 'AUX' mode.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied) to the AUX IN port on the boombox.
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (smartphone, MP3 player, tablet).
- Start playback on your external device.
- Adjust the volume on both the boombox and your external device for optimal sound.
Headphone Use:
- Plug your headphones (not supplied) into the headphone socket located on the back of the unit.
- When headphones are connected, sound will be muted from the built-in speakers.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- CD Player: If the CD player skips or fails to read discs, try cleaning the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not touch the lens.
- Cassette Player: Periodically clean the tape heads and pinch rollers with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries and store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
