Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine not powering on | Not plugged in; power switch off; faulty power cord/outlet. | Check power connection; ensure switch is ON; try a different outlet. |
| Upper thread breaks | Incorrect threading; tension too high; needle bent/dull; wrong needle size. | Re-thread the machine; adjust tension; replace needle; use correct needle for fabric. |
| Skipped stitches | Bent/dull needle; incorrect needle insertion; wrong needle type for fabric. | Replace needle; ensure needle is fully inserted with flat side to back; use appropriate needle. |
| Fabric jamming/bunching | Improper threading; tension issues; lint in feed dogs; incorrect presser foot pressure. | Re-thread; adjust tension; clean feed dogs; adjust presser foot pressure (if adjustable). |
| Bobbin thread tangling | Improper bobbin insertion; bobbin not wound evenly; lint in bobbin case. | Re-insert bobbin correctly; re-wind bobbin; clean bobbin case. |
